From challenge to

completed project

Defective or undersized motor circuits are an electrical risk, a reliability problem, and, at an aggregates facility, a production problem too. Spark Power ran a facility-wide inspection and replacement program to find and fix every weak circuit. The site now has code-compliant motor infrastructure and documentation its maintenance team can work from.

How we

solved it

  • Inspected all motors to identify defective or undersized electrical circuits
  • Removed outdated wiring, breakers, and protection devices
  • Supplied and installed new, properly rated conductors and protective components
  • Conducted full testing for continuity, insulation resistance, and operational performance
  • Updated labeling and documentation for all replaced circuits

The metrics

that matter

  • All motor circuits brought to NEC/IEC standards. Every circuit inspected, assessed, and upgraded to current electrical code requirements.
  • Improved equipment reliability across motor infrastructure. Defective and undersized components replaced before they caused equipment failures or unplanned downtime.
  • Electrical risk reduced across the facility. Non-compliant wiring and outdated protection devices removed and replaced throughout the motor circuit program.
  • Complete documentation and as-built drawings delivered. Updated labeling, test and commissioning reports, and as-built drawings provided at project handover.
