From challenge to

completed project

GAP’s Pacific Distribution Center was expanding automation and robotics, and its existing electrical infrastructure wasn’t built to support them. Spark Power engineered and delivered the upgrade, giving the facility the power and lighting its next phase of automation depends on.

How we

solved it

  • Installed new power feeds and reworked power distribution to support (6) loaders, (4) large-scale control cabinets, (12) crane robots, (30) packing stations, and (5) networking cabinets.
  • Delivered full electrical design in-house by Spark Power’s engineering team.
  • Installed new interior lighting for multi-level picking structures, aisle racking, and platforms, plus exterior lighting repairs.
  • Coordinated with client teams and subcontractors for on-time delivery across two connected buildings.

The metrics

that matter

  • Future-proofed automation-ready infrastructure. Reliable power capacity to support advanced automation and robotics.
  • Smooth integration during live operations. Zero visibility disruptions during integration of new systems.
  • Enhanced safety and productivity. New lighting improved productivity and workplace safety across the DC.
  • Full in-house design and execution. Scalable design supports ongoing expansion.
