An oil and gas operator in Sarnia, Ontario wanted on-site battery storage to support grid reliability and energy management. Spark Power took the project through the full EPC lifecycle, running regulatory and utility approvals in parallel with engineering and construction so the project didn’t stall waiting on paperwork.

- Delivered EPC services for a BESS using Fluence lithium-ion batteries and power electronics inverters.
- Managed full project lifecycle including design, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Prepared and submitted ESA packages, utility applications, system studies, and protection & control (P&C) documentation.
- Developed and coordinated construction packages, drawing reviews, and civil engineering deliverables.
