From challenge to
completed project
Stadium crews at the Alamodome needed dependable lighting under the bleachers and power for new seating controls. Spark Power designed and installed both in 2020.
How we
solved it
- Designed the lighting layout for uniform coverage across every bleacher section.
- Planned new panels and dedicated circuits around the expanded seating and bleacher controls.
- Sequenced work to keep the stadium functional, adjusting schedule and procurement as conditions changed.
The metrics
that matter
- Project delivered on time and on budget despite COVID-19. Supply chain and work interruptions were navigated without schedule or budget overruns.
- New LED bleacher lighting installed across all sections. Equally spaced LED wall packs provide consistent, uniform task lighting throughout the bleacher level.
- New 400A panels and power distribution installed. Two new panels were installed to feed the expanded bleacher section on the facility’s lower level.
- Facility remained functional throughout installation. Work was planned and executed to maintain stadium operations with minimal disruption throughout the project.
