From challenge to
completed project
The company needed control buildings for several renewable energy sites and wanted as much of the work as possible finished before the units reached site. Spark Power designed and built the E-Houses in its own shop, so each one arrived ready to install.
How we
solved it
- Designed and fabricated 5 purpose-built modular control buildings (20′ and 40′ C-can enclosures).
- Completed structural container modifications including reinforced personnel access and welded interior framing.
- Delivered fully insulated, climate-controlled shelters with durable interior wall and floor finishes.
- Executed in-house fabrication, painting, and electrical fit-out prior to equipment installation.
- Installed and wired all protection, control, and communications equipment per engineered specifications.
- Performed factory acceptance testing (FAT) and pre-commissioning to validate system performance before shipment.

- Lower commissioning risk at energization. Factory acceptance testing was completed before shipment, so issues were resolved in the shop instead of on site.
